Part of our Better Mechanical Service
Your ability to stop is paramount to the safety of you, your passengers and everyone else on the road. To make sure you can stop on a dime, you need brake pads, rotors and systems that are up to the task. Quanz Auto Care makes sure they are.
Signs You May Need Brake Work
Automotive brakes are manufactured with a wear indicator—your brakes squeal when the pad has worn down to a certain thickness. However, if you drive with your car windows up and/or your radio on, you may not notice.
If left without service, brake pads may completely wear away, leaving the rotor (metal disk) exposed. If this is the case, you may experience:
- A grinding noise when applying the brakes
- Pulsation in the pedal when applying the brakes
- Pulling to the right or left when applying the brakes
The longer any symptom of brake wear is ignored, the more likely you may need more costly rotor replacement. It is best to get your car to Quanz Auto Care at the early signs of brake problems.
